Hassankeyf

Hassankeyf once was an important town on the caravan routes from Anatolia into Iraq. The remains of the old Roman bridge, it’s citadel, the many cave-dwellings but especially the possibility to catch your own fish from one of the many restaurants over the Tigris before they fry them for you, make it an important attraction for the inhabitants of the region.
