Off we go

So we're off tomorrow morning to drive to D-Land to my grandma because on Friday is the funeral of my granddad. I don't really know what do expect so I'm kinda nervous. I'll write about it once I am back. Other than that I totally got back into reading books. I'm happy. I just finished 'A prayer for Owen Meany" by John Irving in Dutch (because Angel has it in Dutch), a very great book I can reccomend it to everyone, and I am now reading "A Secret History" by Donna Tartt, which I am eating even more vigorously than Owen. It's so exciting and such a page turner... it actually keeps me away from the computer, which is a first! Also what I love about it is that I actually understand some of the more specific references to Greek history and old greek and mythology, which I was obsessed with as a kid. I nearly would have taken old greek in High School, but sadly I was the only one interested and so the course was cancelled. I could have taken Latin, but I don't like the Romans... I'm weird that way.

Anyways... I'm off to buy some food rations for the 10-hour car trip and let's hope the weather is nice tomorrow... no snow storms in Germany and such.

Doegie!
