Yeah I know I'm bad at updating anything lately...

That's mostly because my PC is still non-operative.
Also, I got back into Neopets and that takes up time with useless clickage.

I finished "Fingersmith" and I got "Affinty" from Angel so I'm reading that now. I just love Sarah Water's writing. It's strange because in my teens I read a lot of lesbian literature and I hated it ALL. I read all the Bradleys and fought myself through all those "sad-ending" books where the girl never got the girl or they were either really man-like dykes, or really screwed up in the head... or both.

But Sarah Waters writes stories about regular, lovable characters. Pretty young women who just happen to fall in love with other pretty young women. No big issues, no having to come out and dealing with it stuff. Just a very exciting story that happens to have 2 girls in it instead of a guy and a girl. And add to that the victorian element which I love just as much. :) Just awesome! :)

I have not read the book of "Tipping the Velvet" but I've seen the BBC series. Maybe I'll get the book anyways.
