There's even things a Kuschi never thought she's see...

phoney

150 phones of the 150th Phone House store. Makes sense, no? but aren't they just the cutest thing? I wonder if we can adopt one. We'd have to shrink them, though.

Also in our most recently videotaped Episode of Escape to the Country it finally reached my microscopic brain that socalled "periodic" houses in the country do not always mean "cottage-y". A rather wealthy family sent out the presenter with a budget that could buy them a castle and not too surprisingly one of the houses they went to see was a Victorian/Gothic house. whereas through the Episode the house turned out to be much too big and horrible furnished/decorated it did have several periodic features that took my beath away. A huge wooden staircase that went up the 3 stories in a square, leaving the space in the middle a long toweresque hall of sorts. Lovely. It had little corner towers with bedrooms in them and great sitting rooms. Those are features all victorian houses have so I now want to retire in such.

And yeah I sort of also like the American-Victorian house style you see in New England.

And when you surf around the American Real Estate websites and look at their prices including the land you could just flip out. Everything there is so cheap!! We could buy such a huge piece of land and a giant house on it for the price of our current house over here. Too bad it's the country I would LEAST like to live in. That leaves Canada... hehe ^____^
