Online simulations - addiction

Okay, I admit it. I'm hopelessly addicted to virtual pet sites!!! It's just so cute to train them and all... and those virtual pets at least don't stare you out of bed in the morning and swallow every crap they can find lying on the street.



I've been playing Neopets for nearly 3 years now. It's the biggest and also most commercial one of the many sites. This also means it's the most updated and most complex one as well. However I tend to get bored there every now and then.



Another pets site is PowerPets which many say is a Neopets rip-off, but which is not true since the game play is totally different and you have actual real pets and it's all a bit more realistic. That site even supports real-life animal protection projects and the best part is that the players can create things in the worlds, so it's more personal and more down to earth.



The last one I go to is Furry Paws a website where you can adopt, breed, train and show-off you're very own dogs. Those are all real-life dog breeds, so naturally I took a beagle. This game is a bit more complicated since you need to know breed stuff and such but it's still quite cool!



So, it's offical I'm an online game geek... -__-;

On a different note, it's only 4 more days of work and then it's christmas vacation until the 2nd week of January. Laziness here we come!!!! *huge grin*. This will be my first vacation off of work ever in my life! I've had days off and stuff but never more then 2 days in a row... now it's two weeks. I'm so stoked! :D Wheee!

Okay... I'm off to have dinner now. Chinese of course. gotta have chopsticks...
