Sandra Bos was born in Den Helder on November 11, 1963. There she spent most of her life, and discovered her love for painting, using different kinds of mediums, including acrylic, pastels and water color on a variety of support mediums like canvas, wooden panel, hardboard, fine artist paper and parchment.
In the early Spring of 2007 she moved to Purmerend - a small town near Amsterdam.
It was there she painted her last works. In a reasonably short period she created a vast amount of paintings - mainly semi abstract colorful acrylic on canvas. Some of these works found their way to art collectors in the Netherlands, the U.S.A. and Japan.
By the end of 2008 she was struck down by an illness of which she died a few months later, on June 27, 2009.
This site is a humble tribute to the great soul that she was, and to the wonderful works she created with her tremendous energy and devotion.
