Quick Start

In this section you can find information to quickly have ClickHeal support you in your daily WoW life.

Heal yourself or a friend

Healing in ClickHeal is simply done by clicking on the unit you want to heal. By default, heal spells are already pre-assigned to the mouse buttons, if you are one of the healing classes. By moving the mouse over the unit you want to heal, a tooltip with the spell assignment will show up. By default the spell assignment for the priest is as follows (other classe similar, but check the tooltip):

So if you left click on yourself, a party member, a raid member, a pet or even a friendly target in ClickHeal (one of the ClickHeal frames), by default the Slow Heal will be cast. If you right click on them, they will be shielded. It is as easy as that!

Another way of healing is to give the control over to ClickHeal. You can do this by clicking on the big blue button, the so called "PANIC" button. ClickHeall will then scan you, your party members, raid members and all pets, and decide what to do. If it needs to heal, it will cast a heal spell. Or cast a shield spell if someone is very low on health and under attack. Or cures the unit of ailements, like poisons or curses. Or buffs the unit if possible.

ClickHeal will automatically downgrade spells, to save mana. Downgrading is the process of chosing a lower ranking spell depending on the missing health of the spell recipient. The exact behavior of this can be configured. By default it will downgrade spells out of combat, but not in combat. It will also downscale spells if the level of the recipient will be too high (if you cast on players much lower than your level).

Buff yourself or a friend

To buff yourself is as simply as heal someone, and also done by simply clicking the unit to buff with the assigned mouse button. By default this is the SHIFT-Middle Button of your mouse. ClickHeal will then cast the first buff applicable to the unit. By clicking the unit again, ClickHeal casts the next applicable buff until the unit is fully buffed. What buffs should be cast on what units and classes, can be dynamically set up in ClickHeal. Of course default settings will be supplied.

Another way to buff yourself, party members, raid members and their pets is to SHIFT-Middle click (per default) the PANIC button. ClickHeal will then scan the units and picks the unit and the buff which should be cast, according to your settings in the buff section. This is a very quick way to fully buff the whole group (or raid).

Normally ClickHeal takes the settings which you configured in the buffs section, however you can also have ClickHeal display a pop-up menu, so that you can overrule the settings for this buff action only. This is especially handy if you have a buff which you normally dont cast/refresh, but want to have it for a single encounter (e.g. "Shadow Protect" the tank for this boss fight only).

Cure yourself or a friend

Curing can done - what a surprise - by simply SHIFT-Right clicking (default) the unit in need of curing. The appropriate spell for curing will automatically be chosen. Note however that you need to have the "decursive" AddOn installed, as ClickHeal uses this addon to cure units.

Another way is to SHIFT-Right click into the PANIC button. Then ClickHeal (or better: Decursive) will decide which unit needs to be cured and what cure spell to be used.

Cast a spell on an enemy

Casting a (offensive) spell on an enemy unit can also be done by simply clicking this unit. What spell will be cast can be set up in the Enemy section of ClickHeal. For how to assign spells to mouse buttons, please check out Assigning spells and actions to mouse buttons.

Cast a spell on a friend

Casting a any spell on a friend is very similar to casting a spell on an enemy. What spell will be cast can be set up in the Friend section of ClickHeal. For how to assign spells to mouse buttons, please check out Assigning spells and actions to mouse buttons.
