For Sale Because of Overcompleteness:

In the forefront it shows the TANNOY Eaton version of monitoring loudspeakers which consist of two way concentrically aligned 10" cone assemblies that by the aid of two distinct controls can be adjusted in high frequency aptness.
They weigh over 15 kilos a piece which sufficiently encounters unwanted enclosure vibration behaviour induced by bass cone movement pressure.
Nominal power rating is 50 Watts

modifications
I exchanged the connecting terminals with those of a pair of AR4xalphas (also available, though not mintlike, albeit that the woofers have linen surrounds :-) to be able to attach much thicker wire, but the original terminals can easily be refitted again. I also non destructively applied some extra acoustically damping material in the casing interior, it being a bass reflex system.

***** WHAT IS GOING ON? *****
I offered this smallest TANNOY monitor for auction, and bids started rising swiftly, with steps of 50 euros! After one and a half day, while ordinary people were enjoying criminial football behaviour in Germany (world champaignship) the bids have rosen to €350,-!
Might be criminal as well.

Now I am tending to decide to withdraw these pieces of golden acoustics which prices have risen to more than 10 euros/kg (mind you, they are killing livestock for less) from the market [eventually sold them for €385,- to a genuine enthousiast].
Anyways, I started gathering information about this product, and made some comparisons between the DM2s and the Eatons, and my conclusion is that I did a very good job in modifying the latter :-D

Moreover, the photograph shows a Celestion Ditton 15 (using the HF1300 to its upper limits, ie above 18kHz; speakers that used these tweeters were meant for radiobroadcasting by the BBC), as well as its accompanying counterpart in excellent condition, tested with a hell of noiz. The original parts are in the condition as if time did not pass, as to be expected from quality manufacturers.
This is a two way system completed with a passive radiator, which seems far more sophisticated than the Celestion Ditton 15XR one. They nominally load 30 Watts.

And in addition to that two really freaky three way

H. J. Leak & Co. Ltd. SANDWICH 200 monitors.
