Jacqueline Carey - Kushiel's dart

Blessed Elua, I thought this book would never end! What an incredibly boring story about nothing, filled with uninteresting and one-dimensional characters with complicated names that are impossible to remember and a lot of untasteful BDSM sex. I only kept reading because Anna insisted it would get better (but it really didn't) and I got to the point where I was so far in the book I refused to give up. Although I should have. 900 pages wasted. Don't read this. Just really don't.

Currently Reading: Douglas Coupland - JPod
On the stack: Dan Simmons - Olympos, Tad Williams - Shadowmarch, Eoin Colfer - Artemis Fowl (book three), Salman Rushdie - Shalimar's Clown, Jane Urquhart - the Stonecarvers, Tobias Moore - Death by Chocolate, Harry Mulisch - The discovery of heaven, Jodi Picoult - Salem Falls, Khaled Hosseini - The Kite Runner, Benjamin Kunkel - Indecision, Terri Paddock - Come Clean, Julie Burchill - Sugar Rush, Neil Gaiman - American Gods and Neverwhere, Mark Haddon - The curious incident of the dog in the night-time, Haruki Murakami - Norwegian Wood
