Otto Eirich was the son and the successor of Oskar Friedrich Eirich, who founded the theatre publishing house Eirich. One of his successes was "Die Blaue Maus" by Alexander Engels and Julius Hurst. It had been turned by all theatres in Vienna until he managed to bring it on the stage at the Raimund Theatre where it became a huge success. Afterwards the piece was performed hundreds of times at the Lustspieltheater in Berlin. Otto Eirich was also the first to bring the plays of Hans Jaray to the stage.
