My favourite comical television series from dutch VPRO broadcasting organisation. Beginning to become popular now (it's about time after 5 years). Good laugh. Incredibly good portrait of the average (?) dutchman. In some magazines they even try psychological analysis on the phenomenon and on why it has such a weird appeal to certain people. In my case, I think it just makes a lot of things I experience in life more bearable. First, because it acknowledges the fact that many people make a fool of other people (e.g. artists, artists, commercials, authorities), without ever somebody (until Jiskefet) noticing it. Second, it makes life with some people around me easier, because Jiskefet proves, that after all, they're the fools.
Unfortunately Jiskefet (and Debiteuren/Crediteuren which is more or less derived from it) will only be fun for dutch or dutch-speaking people.
