De Chinese Schrijftaal is gebaseerd op meer dan 200 tekens - plaatjes die men aanduidt met de term "Radicals". Ze staan onderaan deze pagina. Chinese Writing is based upon more than 200 "characters" - pictures that are called "Radicals". Look at the bottom of this page for those "Radicals". The Chinese characters are presented here by several methods. For one of the methods HTML-codes are used. For more information about the HTML-presentation you might look at this site . Om het te kunnen zien (= lezen) als een echt Chinees character, dient u de Taal van uw Internet
Browser te veranderen in Chinees. Start met "Vereenvoudigd Chinees" - de meest simpele vorm, die

U kunt ook direct deze website bekijken om na te gaan of de benodigde
voorbereidingen het gewenste effect hebben. Die website bevat een zgn. "meta-tag", waarin uw
Internet Browser de opdracht krijgt om de tekenset "gb2312" voor "vereenvoudigd Chinees" te
gebruiken. Als u op die pagina alles kunt lezen, dan zit u goed. Indien dat niet het geval is,

You might also choose for this site to check if you have made all the
preparations, that are needed. On that site a "meta-tag" is used to tell your Internet Browser
that the character-set gb2312 must be used. If you still can not read everything at that page,
you have to make some adjustments at your own computer - p.e. the fonts you need are not present
OR not doing their job.
