...telling you about it.
Remember the good news I was hinting about? Well...
My book is going to be published and will be for sale autumn 2008!
The less good news for most of the readers of this blog: it's in dutch.
I do have some mixed feelings about this. I wish I was writing inspirational books like Amanda, Amy and Jane. But although I do have some drafts of things like that, I'm not at that point yet. My book is a simple romance novel. I won't be able to make a living out of it either, since the dutch language area is rather small.
Still, after writing since I learned to read (I wrote my own stories, since books never seemed to satisfy me) and dreaming of being a real writer for about fifteen years, it is acknowledgement of something that I wouldn't call a talent (not little me, I'm still admiring writers like Nora Roberts and Barbara Wood from a humble distance).
Let's call it a craft...
