Destashing

I see a lot of really great crafting rooms online (I love this one!) and I'm sometimes amazed about the stashes you guys keep. I think my stash is big enough now and it still fits behind one little door in grandma's cupboard!
I'm planning to use what I have before buying something new, but there is a lot left to do. I want to make four dresses, one nice little bag for me, a bag for my camera, and than there is some more fabric, maybe for some blouses or more bags (I definitely like making bags more than sewing cloths).

The yarn doesn't look like much, but I still have a work in progress of green and white yarn, there is a lot of browns, but not enough of each to make a sweater. I have to think about that. I do want to knit a blanket for the livingroom, but I'm fed up with brown, I want some more color. Maybe a poncho.
There is the green and yellow kyoto ribbon yarn I want to make a summer top of and some smaller left overs. I have to look for small projects on the internet...
And ofcourse the 70's cardigan that still isn't finished. I have one sleeve to finish, but I really getting tired of the rather mind-numbing pattern.
Anyway, lots of sewing and knitting to be done, before I can give in to the temptation of the fabric and yarn I see at the stores!

Bag with ruffles

I saw a bag with ruffels in a magazine and decided to make something like that for my youngest daughter. She loves it!

Front (the edge isn't crooked, it's a crappy picture)

Bag for other DD

Did you think twins have identical tastes? Not mine.
I had to look hard for fabric to make D. a bag.
"But what kind of print and color do you want?"
"I will know when I see it."
Hmpf. But the fabric I found wednesday was what she meant. And she wanted me to line it with the golden fabric I had in my stash. I don't recommend the latter. It was slippery and teared easily. But none of that is visible in the end result.
D. wanted lots of pockets so I kind of went crazy with that.

Purple bag

I think I have been hibernating. I have been buying some fabric and making plans, but didn't get anything done. Until today. I made a bag for DD E.
Finding the right fabric wasn't hard. Purple, her favourite color. I wanted to line it with black, but she thought that would be too dark. So I used another piece of fabric I already had.
E. like clean lines and no fuss, so I made it rather simple. The outside had no pockets, the inside has three, two of them close with velcro. It is reversable, but I think E. will use it with the purple outside.
