Big Bag

I finished the bag and I'm happy with it.
It's rather big, with a front pocket that closes with velcro for my wallet and keys. On the bag there is a small pocket for my cellphone, also closing with velcro. The bag it self is no more thant a big sack, which easily fits stuff in A4-sizs. Perfect for work but I think it also will be a good bag for shopping. I made the strap long enough to carry it across on my shoulder (like a messenger bag), which I like when walking or cycling with it.
I love the brown flower fabric. Really retro looking.
Now my daughters are asking me to make them a bag too. We'll see. I really like this way of creating something without a pattern.

Skirt

Last Friday I decided to go and look for some fabric to make a bag like I saw on Craftster. I did find some, but there was also this fabric that kept calling me to make a skirt of it. It had been years since a made a serious piece of clothing, but I like the result a lot and I even managed to get the zipper in neatly.

Slow...

Knitting is not my thing lately. The cardigan is progessing slowly. I have to little of the nice brown/green/ecru yarn for the whole thing. I have been back to the store about ten times now, but they can't help me. That's the disadvantage of a cheap store. Also it isn't really a yarnshop, it just also sells yarn.
I did buy the same yarn in ecru to finish the cardigan, but I don't know if it will look okay. So far I have done the back and one of the fronts. I'm hoping the green/brown will last to finish the other front.
Sorry, no pictures (camera battery is empty)
