One's continuity

Continuity...
-------------

There are times when one is faced with the most conflicting set
of circumstances: impractical possibilities, unanswerable questions,
events without obvious cause, unreachable destinations, and
unattainable goals.
By far the worst of these is the unrealizable vision of happiness
that eludes you for years, occasionally indicating it's far away
presence just frequently enough for you to remember that you will
never become part of that vision: and each time it shows itself it
does so for sufficient a duration to ensure that it's image is
implanted in your memory so that you never forget the emotional
impact of it's occurrence. The best way in which to carry on Life
undisturbed and, for the most part, unperturbed, is to build a wall
with niether windows, gaps or gates: just make the space in which
you are then contained sufficiently large enough that the possibilities
within are appropriately challenging and consuming of your time, and
you will be the posessor of untouched strength. And if you wish to
continue down such a smooth road in Life, let nobody enter your
castle and never, but never, look over the top of your wall...
