Who sees only his memories
Through his blue eyes?
What do you say to the man
With so many memories
Yet so little within view?

What does the man do
Who can see the right way
With his blue eyes?
What do you say to the man
Who still can only do wrong
In anothers' eyes?

What does the man do
Who supposedly lives in company
Alone with his blue eyes?
What do you say to the man
Who lives in the cold
With only ice within view?

What does the man do
Who has maybe seen too much
Through his blue eyes?
What do you say to the man
Who has done so very much
But sees only the unattainable?

What does the man do
When the sand only makes room for salt
In his blue eyes?
What do you say to the man
Who has begun to forget the comfort
Of what life used to give?

What does the man do
When his very life causes
His blue eyes to turn grey
What do you say to this man
This heartless shadow of a former life
When he knows those blue eyes were his own?
