Four people travel on a train to southern Europe. They fall asleep and have surreal dreams about themselves and their fellow passengers.
Fulco Lorenzo(1964) has been working in film business for several years since his graduation in 1989 from the Art Academy of Utrecht, and the Santbergen Academy of Film and Television in Hilversum.
He worked on different features as an assisting director and first assistant of filmmakers such as Pim de la Parra, Alex van Warmerdam and Peter Greenaway.
He wrote and directed Bloody Mary (1992) and Ventimiglia (1995).
Marc van Uchelen(1970) graduated in 1996 from the Dutch Film and Television Academy. He worked as an actor on several feature films as To play or die by Frank Krom, Return to Oegstgeest by Theo van Gogh, and the Academy Award winning film The Assault by Fons Rademakers.
He wrote and directed Bloody Mary (1992), Ventimiglia (1995), Pisvingers (1995) and Buenos Aires, here we come (1996). For Pisvingers he received the Filmnet Award 1995.
Ventimigliais the second short film they wrote and directed together. At the moment Fulco Lorenzo and Marc van Uchelen are working together on their first feature film-project Unshaven Heroes.
Their first short film Bloody Marywas sold to different television stations throughout Europe and has won two prizes at the International Film Festival of Gijon, Spain in 1993.
