The book I read is titled "Lightning Strikes". It was written by V.C. Andrews. This is the second book in a series called The Hudson series. V.C. Andrews writes all of her books in a series of four or five books. I enjoyed this book greatly. This book kept my attention the whole way through. Rain, was going through so much that I had a hard time putting the book down. Each incident that happened to her seemed like a nightmare and I could never imagine going through what she has gone through. I really enjoy reading stories about people my age because I can realate to some of the characters feelings and things they are going through. I really like how V.C. Andrews writes her books in series because you get the whole life story. I hate when I read a book and I feel that there wasn't enough information or when the author leaves you hanging wothout a sequel. When I read the first book in this series titled "Rain", I didn't know there was a sequel. When I found out I was very excited because all of the questions I had would be answered in the next book. Of course I was looking forward to reading it and was always checking to see when this book would come out. I would definately recommened this book who like reading about one's life and who like a lot of drama in the story. This one definately does.
