The Real Necronomicon
The Real Necronomicon NEVER EXISTED. In numerous letters writtin in hte 20's and 30's Lovecraft explained how he came up with the idea and also told people that it was NOT A REAL BOOK. The word Necronomicon didn't even exist until The Festival, one of his stories, was published. He based the idea off of various 16th century books on occult rituals and practices. Abdul Alhazred was a name that his uncle called him when he was young and obsessed with Arabian Nights. Every mention of the book before the 20's is a fabrication made up by people that want to believe that his imaginary book is real. Get over it, it's a make believe book.
