Great short story

This is an excellent short story written in perfect Laymon-style. It's creepy, it's suspenseful, it has everyday things that don't act the way they should. This is a great little story for any horror fan. (Those of us who remember "Have you checked the children?" are especially creeped out by this one!). It has elements that are quickly becoming extinct in today's world of wireless phones.

But...this is a tiny chapbook. It only has this one story, and the price might not be worth it to the casual reader. If you're a Laymon collector, you'll probably want this (it looks like the size of an informational brochure). If you're not, you probably don't want to spend this much money on one story. - an Amazon customer review
