Proceed rubber right front view After months (years, even) of questions about mounting rubber tires on the proceed, we finally managed to do it. Up until now, the only rubber tires known to fit a Proceed were the so called "rain tires". These rubber tires are made for driving in the rain, and the rubber compound is so soft that these tires will melt when driven on a dry track.

As you can see in the pictures on this page, we finally found tires and rimms which fit the Proceed axles. The tires you see in the pictures are originally a rally conversion for a 1/8 scale off-road buggy.

Proceed rubber left rear view The rubber tires you seen in these pictures are the perfect tire for rally-ish surfaces like gravel, small pebbles and even short or dry grass, as shown in the pictures.

The front and rear view show a very tight fit for these large rimms and tires. For proper rear suspension working, the rear body mount should be set in it's highest position. As you can see, in these pictures we did not do this. You can see how close the tires are to the rear body mount. We do not advise this setup.

Proceed rubber tires ground clearance As you can see, mounting these tires will result in a very large ground clearance. You can also see how nice the quick-release system fits the rimms. The rimms can easily be clicked on. To be able to drive these rimms, small aluminum adapters have to be made to prevent them from wobbling.

With tires of this diameter, the Proceed could easily do 100+ MPh (over 160 km/h).
