iChart is an application to manage charts. Charts can be anything: MTV charts, Formula 1 race results, votes for the Eurovision Song Contest, your favourite movies, etc...

Imagine...
You are a music lover and you want to keep track of your favourite popular music singles/tracks on a weekly basis during a year, similar to what radio stations or tv stations provide. With iChart this is a piece of cake. Just create a new chart database (iChart document), configure it to be a sequence and start adding charts and tracks....

Or imagine..
You are a Formula 1 race fan and want to have a close inside view on the various races and how the drivers are performing. Again, no problem with iChart. Create a new chart database (iChart document), configure it to be a collection and start adding races and drivers...

Sequence or Collection
A chart database can be a sequence or collection of charts. Configure a database to be a sequence when you want to view how entries in your chart are doing over time. E.g. in a music chart, you want to see new entries, winners, and losers. iChart shows this using Aqua buttons.

More information
You can add additional notes to your charts and entries using the Inspector. The Inspector also allows you to link your entries to MP3's, QuickTime movies, URL's, etc...
Furthermore, the inspector provides you with information on your charts and entries.

Consolidation
With iChart you can get an instant consolidated view on your chart database.

Download iChart
iChart (v0.1.2b4) is downloadable as a disk image. On the disk image you will find the application and two example chart databases.

You can download a ZIP file containing a Snow Leopard (Intel-only) version of iChart (doesn't require Rosetta)
Localisation

iChart comes with English and Dutch localisation. If you want to localise the application, send me an email....

My Cube. A design class in itself and with a processor upgrade and Superdrive it can beat any other current model (except, obviously, the G5...).

Feedback

I wrote iChart just for fun and to get acquainted with Apple's Developer Tools and Cocoa. It might be of no use to anybody but myself. However, I can see lots of extensions to the program so expect future versions.

If you have any comments or feedback, please send these by email or try to get me on iChat AV...
