BRASS LATCHES
|
These
windscreen latches will complete your restoration. The original ones are hard
to find. This pair of reproduction latches is cast from a model using an
original pair. It's the nearest thing to the original. Once on the jeep you
will not see the difference between this repro and the originals. I used
exactly the same brass, and as far as I know nobody else reproduces brass
latches for the early Willys MB, Ford GP and Ford GPW Jeeps (this style is correct for the
early 1942 Jeep). For comparison purposes on the picture you will see the two
repros next to one original. The small difference in color is down to age and
dirt. Due to the cost of reproduction I will only make a limited number.
