The x3 collective is a Joint Operations Escalation unit from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Our name refers to the three crosses in the city of Amsterdam's Coat of Arms. As a collective we are dedicated to doing battle on Novaworld stat servers. We recruit on invitation only and do not play squad matches.
The members of x3 have been fighting together for years. Founded Februari 2003 as a unit for Delta Force Land Warrior, the collective succeeded a Quake3 clan called [XXX] Amsterdam, which was founded November 1999. Initially dubbed x³, we changed our name to x3 when Nova banned the use of ascii in September 2003.
Even back in 1997 some members already cooperated during Quake 2 and Delta Force 2, both on the internet and at LAN parties. Whenever x3 makes a difference during stat matches, it is for this reason. We know each other's gameplay and need only few words to understand each other. We do not use team speak and we despise cheating.
If you feel like fighting with us, or if you feel like figthing against us, drop by Europe Novaworld servers Zweihander or Dragonlance. We're often there in the evening on AAS or TDM.
