Janetge Jacobsdr Vogel (?-1624) Patrician in Delft, living at Oude Delft, east side. Her coat of arms appears in two Vermeer's paintings, now in museums in Braunschweig and Berlin. She was the first wife of Mozes van Nederveen (d. 1624). Montias (in Vermeer Studies 1998, p. 98) makes a tentative link to Van Ruyven's house "Golden Eagle" - it could be the same house on the east side of Oude Delft near Boterbrug.

Note. Neurdenberg 1942 and 1951. Montias (1993) p. 209-210 and note 71, 73. Montias, Recent archival research 1998. p. 98, note 30. GAD Verponding boek 1620, fol. 453-v.
