Welcome to the WasteBucket! This place contains nearly everything that I do (or did) during my life as a developer, guitarist, cartoonist or other hobbies that keep me from having a life. I hope the contents of this site is worthy of sharing with anyone. Please select a section here to find out what I've been doing. Some of the content is outdated and would not look bad in the museum, but hey the internet is one big archive isn't it?

My name is Jorgen Bodde and I live in Delft, The Netherlands. I am a senior software engineer. On my personal page you will find ways on how to contact me, where I hang out, and more. A true developer does not stop when it is time to go home from work. Which means I also have written (and I am still writing) some applications. All of them are free to download, and free to use. If you want you can even get the source code and check it out!
I like to play guitar in my spare time. On this page you will find some of my recordings. I mostly play rag-time blues, like Mississippi John Hurt, Blind Blake, or various songs. I have written some components for wxWidgets, a cross platform toolkit which allows you to compile your application for Windows, Linux, MacOS and other OS'es. wxWidgets has bindings for C++, python (wxPython), perl, and more.
As creative as I could get, I have drawn cartoons for a while. I used to have a weekly cartoon (E! a comic about a guy with epilepsy). I have also drawn for a couple of company magazines like "Localiteiten" and "FEL-gekleurd".
