#$%@^&* Cluts of &%^$&# Forge
After some severe Shapes-editing and mucking around with cluts, to my utter annoyance Forge started to mess with its preview.
The above shows a lite version of a mucked up clut on the right, while playing in Marathon shows left a no-problemo nice wallset. (The representation here is very light, heavy cases are like a bad mixture of LSD and Infa-Vision mixed with any PhotoShop-filter of the last decade.) After a lot of teethgnashing and trying to redo/undo/dodo my shapes file I was desperate. So at last I ShapeJuggled my new wall-set (and ONLY the wallset) into a clean Marathon-Shapes file and lo and behold!
Crispy walltextures are back :)
My suspicion is that the clut-files of scenery and the monsters themselve are somehow influencing Forge. It has default cluts called "Drawing and Shading Colors", and I think those were the bastages.
So IF Custom Scenery Clut, Then Clean Walls-Only Shapes For Forge.
