iBook Mighty Pro

While a scrollpad is nice on the road, for occasional desk use I rather use a mouse and a full-size keyboard with my iBook. And avoided having USB input devices until now, I went out and bought a Mighty Mouse and an Apple Pro Keyboard. The Mighty Mouse kind of sucks on the top of a white Ikea effektif desk. The optical doesn't track and while moving it it rattles like a cheap white plastic box. The keyboard is better with F keys going all the way up to 16 and integrated volume control.
And in line with the iBook I bought a Lacoste casual beige bag on the P.C. Hooft. It fits the 12" iBook perfectly and has 2 extra compartments for the loader, the Mightly Mouse and it can also store my P800 with headset and transformer. Only the extension cord may be a bit to bulky to get it in the bag, but I don't have to carry that around that much anyway. One thing that annoys me about the iBook is the totally grip-less power jack of the adapter. It looks slick and shiny and lights up orange or green, but it doesn't really help trying to pull it out of the iBook: you either have to pull the cord or pry your nails behind it...
