Acer Computers Hang After Installing DoubleSpace (97151)

SYMPTOMS
This information applies to both Microsoft DoubleSpace and Microsoft
DriveSpace. For MS-DOS 6.22, use DRVSPACE in place of DBLSPACE for commands
and filenames.
Your Acer computer stops responding (hangs) after you install
DoubleSpace.
CAUSE
According to Acer Technical Support, 386 11/16SX and 386 11/20SX
machines with BIOS revisions earlier than 1.2 revision 4 hang after
you install DoubleSpace.
RESOLUTION
According to Acer Technical Support, you need to upgrade to BIOS
version 1.2 revision 4 to correct this problem. For more information,
