This article was previously published under Q46463
SUMMARY
Problems may occur in Microsoft Mouse driver versions 7.03 and earlier
when you program in graphics at the same time the mouse is being
moved. For example, if you are drawing a series of dots in EGA mode at
the same time you move the mouse, random pixels may turn on.
This problem occurs even if the graphics update is not occurring
under the mouse cursor.
MORE INFORMATION
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Mouse
drivers versions 7.03 and earlier. This problem was corrected in
Microsoft Mouse driver versions 7.04 and later.
This problem can be corrected if the mouse cursor is turned off with
mouse function 2 when updating the graphics screen.
