My Research

Last update: June 13, 2003.

During 1999--2003, I was a PhD. student at Utrecht University, at the GIVE group (this stands for Geometry, Imaging and Virtual Environments). My research dealt with computational techniques for interactive surgery simulation. A description of my research is available at the GIVE site. My thesis is available as PDF here, but if you write to me, I can send a paper version to you. (some updated software notes are here.)

From 1998 to 1999, I was a PhD. student at Utrecht University, at the Software Technology group doing research into generic structure editors. For various reasons, I did not continue there.

From 1992 to 1998 I studied applied mathematics at the Eindhoven University of Technology.

For my engineering degree, I wrote a thesis on convolution algebras, constructed by limiting the support of higher-dimensional functions and sequences. (More information)

As practical training, I wrote software to simulate heat diffusion in copying machines. (More information) at Oce Nederland.
