Since 1980, Ian David Baker has been exhibiting his drawings and photographs extensively, in one man and group exhibitions in England, Germany, Holland, and Thailand. His male nude work has been included in important monographs, some of which are listed below, and in the early 90s a book of his photographs, Younger Days, won wide acclaim. He has had over 50 exhibitions of his work in the last 20 years, including such important venues as Pyms, Osterley Park, and Woburn Galleries in London, Walls and Atelier Galleries in Amsterdam, Revolt in Hamburg and a host of others. Ian has worked as a graphic designer, has taught Graphics at East Ham College, and has taught English, Art, and Photography at Ruam Rudee International School, Bangkok. His most recent exhibitions have been of his paintings. Critics have described his work as "elegant" and "sensitive." His drawings demonstrate a "true talent," his photographs a "romantic quality."
