These web pages are now infrequently updated. The reason is that I am putting more of my energy into my Blog, which is hosted on Windows Live Spaces.

However, this web site remains, for the time being, to hold our (gay) wedding album, some coverage of the Gay Games 1998, and various photo albums.

Background

My name is Geoff Coupe. I'm a British citizen, although I have lived and worked in the Netherlands since 1983. I came here on a three year assignment, but fell in love with the country, and one Dutchman in particular, and so have stayed here ever since.

Alas, my grasp of the Dutch language has not improved over the years.

Until the 30th June 2004, I worked for Shell International B.V. in the office of the Group CIO, primarily in the area of IT architecture.

Now I have entered into the next phase of my life... we will see what that brings...
