A modification designed for IceChat 5.50, this ini file adds many time-saving button shortcuts to the right click menu of IceChat, such as a lot of flexible ban buttons, Auto-Op, Auto-Vop, Auto-Hop, and Auto-Sop, Halfop user, Assign/Unassign bot, and more. Download it and give it a try!
Intended for IceChat Version 5.50 (Build 010905)
Instructions: Place in IceChat5 folder. Name your origional pop-nicklist.ini something like "Orig pop-nicklist.ini" and then start IceChat. This version will now be running, the one with the extra buttons. To switch back to the origional, simply rename this file something such as "Modded pop-nicklist.ini" and name the original pop-nicklist.ini so that IceChat reads the file when it loads it.
If you are using IceChat while you are doing this, the right click button might not work at all. To solve this problem, do the following:
Save the new modded pop-nicklist.ini. Close it. Close all other windows besides the IceChat 5.50 chat window. Disconnect from all irc servers you are on. Close icechat completely and all other folders/windows. Re-run IceChat and then re-connect to the servers, and test out the right click. It should work perfectly fine now.
You can edit the ini files yourself and make changes; it isn't all that hard to figure out although it takes a bit of experimentation. Just look at the other syntaxes in the other ini files.
Buttons added to 'Op Commands' button folder:
- HalfOp
- De-HalfOp
Added Kick/Ban Commands Folder with following buttons:
- Kick(No reason)
- CustomBan Reason
- CustomBan Noreason
- Ban(BanType)Reason
- Ban(BanType)Noreason
- BanKick Standard Noreason
- BanKick Custom Reason
- BanKick Custom Noreason
- Unban Self
- Custom Unban
The following two wildcards are supported for Custom Bans:
- * - * represents any number or combination of letters/numbers/other characters, for example *.blah.com would block gjsagkjsg.blah.com or b.blah.com or just .blah.com.
- ? - ? represents any one character, for example a?c would block abc, acc, adc, aec, afc, etc.
- Also, for the Custom Ban types, you can use 'Extended Ban types' by typing the following in front of username!ident@host:
- ~q:username!ident@host
- ~n:username!ident@host
- ~c:username!ident@host
- ~r:username!ident@host
See http://www.wyldryde.org/a/000665.php for more information.
You of course can also insert wildcards for the user and host and ident.
(note: to unban users banned with BanKick or Ban(BanType) you must type in the command of /mode #channel -b nickname!~ident@hostname.tld and fill in the hostname parts with what the options you banned them with (wildcards, question marks, etc, it must match the ban type). This is because you cannot use right click or involve anyone in a channel if they are not actually in the channel (BanKick and BanType result in kicks and bans both, and the users arent affected if they are not in the channel)
See http://www.wyldryde.org/commands for more command details, for example if you wanted to use extended ban types.
Added Ban Types Folder with following options:
- *!user@host (type 0)
- *!*user@host (type 1)
- *!*@host (Type 2)
- *!*user@*.domain (Type 3)
Added AutoList Folder with Commands:
- Super-op user
- De-super-op user
- Auto-op user
- De-auto-op user
- Auto-Hop user
- De-auto-hop user
- Vop user
- De-Vop user
Added Bots folder with Commands:
- Botlist
- Assign Bot
- Unassign Bot
Buttons added to 'Fish Slap' folder:
- Lawsuit
- Blue Whale
- Sting Ray
- Electric Eel
- Shark
- InsertObject here (you press the button and it automatically does /me slaps $nick with a , and then you type in the rest, you can slap with whatever you'd like).
Feel free to add your own, following the syntax already there. The random command which comes with the origional fish slaps commands tries but fails to read fish.txt for some reason and it just comes out to be '/me slaps $nick'. I didn't know how to fix that so I left it 'as is'.
