CROCODILE TROPHY
The "Crocodile Trophy" is the longest and heaviest mountainbike marathon in the world and is kept in 2006, for the 12th time. Each year concerns the challenge another parcours straight through Australia.
It is a large adventure where your endurance is put heavily on the test.
The contest has exercised the last years a large attraction on professional riders (Phil Anderson, Alberto Elli and Roland Stauder who already did it), but amateurs also. A lot of them have already overcome the high temperatures and heavy stages concerning the harsh and practicaly difficult foundation in Australia.
THE RACE AND THE TANDEM
East Australia is the arena of the worlds heaviest mountainbike marathon. More than 1500 km in the wilderness of Australia. The combination of the kilometres, altimeters, and the high temperatures makes the Crocodile Trophy to the most extreme ATB-contest.
In the month of October each year 75 people can start this challenge. In 13 training periods of which 2 at the timetrial is driven. Never before a tandem has finished.
These are all ingredients for us, to search for extreme borders on the tandem. The combination of that extreme challenge and the good aim turns this into a unique project.
