Use this tool to easily download videos from YouTube or Vimeo. This tool does not contain any code to download or decode videos, it is just a user interface for the popular yt-dlp project. Please note that it may not be legal to download a video.

It is possible to download only the audio portion of a video. For Vimeo videos, password-protected videos are supported. When you try to download a password-protected video, a password field becomes available. You can provide the password and press the download button again.

If necessary, you will be prompted to install the required .NET Desktop Runtime when you start the app. Windows may display a warning. If you see the message “Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from starting.” you can click on “More info” and then on “Run anyway”.
