Kind Question Answer
Startup I cannot find the way to start Eurobridge There should be an icon on your desktop that you can click. If that does not work, you must double click on EuroBridgeXX.mde (XX means 97 or 2000) in the directory C:\EuroBridge.
Startup EuroBridge does not launch when I start it. Make sure MS-Access is installed properly. You should rerun the MS-Office install program and install all the missing items.
Startup When I try to start EuroBridge the MS-Access is started, but trying to open the EuroBridge file I get the message "MDE file cannot be converted or activated" You are using the wrong version of EuroBridge. There is a difference between EuroBridge97 and EuroBridge2000 and Access .MDE files cannot be converted. I recommend, saving disk-space, to delete all files from the wrong version, download the correct one and start again.
Import Some tournaments have been imported. Yet I cannot use them You may have expirienced a crash while importing the tournaments. You should make sure that the tournaments contained in the import file are not present on your disk and try again.
Message Sometimes the computer shows a warning that somebody else changed the record, and I am unable to make this message disappear. The Access record locking system is responsible for that. It creates a file with the same name as the program, but with the extension LDB. EuroBridge is supposed to erase this file when closing, but sometimes the removal fails. You can then erase it manually. EuroBridge should not be working when you do that.
Slow Start When EuroBridge starts it initiates the Auction screen twice and that takes quite a while. This happens only for the first board you play. EuroBridge is then restoring the situation for the last board you have played and at the beginning of the Auction. This will only be noticeable with a slower processor.
