Francis Durbridge
1912-1998
 

Francis Henry Durbridge was born in Hull. In 1933 he graduated from Birmingham University. In 1940 he married Norah Elizabeth Lawley. At the age of 21, he sold his first radio play to the BBC. He is the creator of:
1. 'Paul Temple', a crime writer and amateur detective.
2. 'Tim Frazer', an agent with a British Intelligence agency.
