Tube spiders, phantom or ghost spiders, buzzing spider

Most of these spiders live in America. Only one species occurs in NW-Europe. The spider is distinctively marked and resembles a wolf spider.
The spider lives between the leaves of trees and bushes. The females attach their egg sac to a curled leaf and remains on guard in a flimsy silk cell.
The spider's size varies between 4 and 8 mm. The male spiders drums with its abdomen on a leaf to attract the female spider. This makes a buzzing sound, therfore it name "buzzing spider"
