Ashlander Tent

[download v2.0 (~1.6mb, requires Tribunal and Bloodmoon), screenshot, more screenshots]

A great home for rangers, hunters, rogues, and adventurers (and a nice change for mages and fighters). Visit Timsar the tent maker to earn your own custom-made portable Ashlander yurt. You can find him just north of Falensarano in the Grazelands.

The great thing about the tent is of course that it is mobile: you can carry it and pitch it anywhere where your adventures bring you. Leave the tent and you will be at your camp site again, which makes it a great item to explore the lands of Vvardenfell and Solstheim. In contrast to some other mobile homes, you will enter and exit just as fast as any other door. Loading of exterior locations added by other mods is still slow, but it will work. The tent is fairly heavy but there is enough storage inside to make up for it. Furthermore, it is very cozy and practical: it has a return amulet and an ingredients crystal that automatically puts all your ingredients in an urn. If you are able to complete a quest for Timsar, he can also extend the tent with a yurt in the void realm: this one has plenty storage, armor mannequins, display cases, and a teleportation shrine. As an extra, you can also find a nice ebony bow and ebony claymore during the quests for Timsar. For more information, go to the Ashlander Tent download page.

Tel Magus

[download v1.0  (~900k), screenshots]

A beautiful Telvanni style tower that is great for mages and fighters alike! On the one hand, it is a grand house with an indoor tree spanning over four floors, but at the same time it has a cozy and rustic atmosphere. I tried hard to make this a realistic and practical house, with quick access to the bed room and teleportation chamber. There is also a great display room with armor mannequins and glass display cases. Furthermore, the alchemy room has a very convenient crystal that automatically puts all your ingredients in a special ingredients chest. There is an outside balcony with a fire pit and an underground cave where the indoor waterfall ends. Last, but not least,  the top floor has a secret entry (can you find it?) that holds a return ring and a powerful staff for mages. For more information, go to the Tel Magus download page.

The Lost Armor of St. Nerevar

[download v3.0,  (~3mb), screenshot 1, screenshot 2, screenshot 3, local download v3.0]

This mod adds the "Lost armor of St. Nerevar" to the game, and it looks absolutely great :-)

It is a full medium armor, with two kinds of helmets (open and closed), and two kinds of pauldrons (large and small). Furthermore, I added a light armor, "St. Nerevar's mail", a mace, and a sword; so there is enough to choose from. The armor statistics are balanced, so you will get very good armor, but not super armor. Furthermore, there is a way to 'bless' the cuirass and the mail which makes them on par with other unique armors. The mace and sword have relatively high enchantment values and are quite powerful but still balanced.

Anyway, to start the (little) quest, go to Holamayan Monastery and talk to the monk Daynillo Lleran about "latest rumors". You probably need to be at least level 10, or well known to morrowind, to complete the quest. If you don't know where Holamayan Monastery is, just keep following the main quest and you will get there automatically.

The beautiful armor was created by Enlightened Daedroth and Soulshade. I just created a small quest to find them, added some textures and items, and balanced the stats.

Monk Strategy Guide

The monk strategy guide tries to be the definite guide for playing a monk in Morrowind, that is, a hero that relies on hand-to-hand combat and the unarmored skill for protection. Also discusses interesting plugins and strategies.

Mage Strategy Guide

The mage strategy guide tries to be the definite guide for playing a pure mage in Morrowind. With a pure mage, I mean that the character will almost entirely rely on magic to stay alive and to perform the quests. Also discusses interesting plugins and items for mage characters.

The constellation of the Apprentice.Magicka Regenerate

[download v2.0]

This mod slowly regenerates your magicka. It regenerates 1 point of magicka in 1 to 10 seconds, based on your current willpower and intelligence. The regeneration is so slow that it won't help you inside a dungeon but it is very convenient when walking around the country side. Personally, I find it more natural to regenerate magicka slowly than to carry around tens of restore magicka potions that instantly restore your magicka. Of course, magicka regeneration won't work for characters affected by stunted magicka (i.e. the Atronach birth sign).

This mod is an optimized (and completely rewritten) version of Fukuro's "mana regen v13" mod. Thanks for that nice plugin!

This is a clean mod, consisting of just a global script and it won't affect save games or other plugins.

The magicianSpell cast reduction

[download v3.0

This mod reduces the casting cost of a spell based on your skill level in the corresponding magic school (destruction, mysticism, etc). It basically allows you to develop your mage more satisfactory at higher levels. Although spell costs will not be lower in the spell menu, they will cost less when they are cast. However, if you don't have enough magicka in the first place to cast the spell with its original cost, you won't be able to cast the spell even at the reduced cost.

The magicka cost of a spell is linearly reduced up to 50% of its original cost (with a minimum of 1 magicka point). Reduction only starts from a skill level in the appropriate school of magic of at least 20.

This mod is a refined (and completely rewritten) version of Horatio's excellent "horatio casting2 v12" mod and fixes several small bugs in the original script (see the readme for details). Thanks to Horatio for his original plugin!

This is a clean mod, consisting of just a global script and some spell sound changes, and it won't affect save games or other plugins..

The monk Jarodan, leader of the Twin Lamps.Monk

[download v1.0]

This mod balances the skills for monks and other unarmored heroes. The mod fixes some unbalanced settings in the basic game. First, it increases healt damage done by hand-to-hand combat, allowing you to finish of an enemy relatively quick instead of needing tens of hits (especially at higher levels). Furthermore, the unarmored protection is raised a little bit. Finally, the right bound gauntlet spell increases the unarmored skill instead of agility. The reasoning behind this all is explained in detail in the monk strategy guide (read this too for information about the unarmored skill bug in morrowind).

This is a clean mod, and it won't affect save games or other plugins..

Dragon of the Iron FistWizard Clothes

[download v1.2]

This mod adds wizard clothes to the shop of the fine clothier Milie Hastien in Balmora. These clothes have a higher enchantment rating than normal. This mod is meant especially for unarmored heroes, one could consider it cheating to use this mod together with a heavily armored hero.

This is a clean mod, and it won't affect save games or other plugins..

The unarmored heroine.Dodge

[download v2.1]

Note: I personally play an unarmored hero with just the monk and wizard clothes mod, but some may want some extra power of this mod. Read also my monk strategy guide for information about using the unarmored skill and its bugs in the game.

The dodge mod is for wizards, monks, thieves, and Conan-style fighters. It tries to balance the unarmored skill against the armored skills. The maximal armor rating of unarmored is pretty low and you have less enchantment slots than with armor in place. The only advantage is that you don't have to carry that much equipment.

To balance this situation, this mod adds a dodge (i.e. sanctuary) bonus between 0 and 50, based on you unarmored skill. Your ability to dodge is penalized though by the amount of armor you are wearing, where heavy armor hinders more than light armor.

This mod is an optimized (and completely rewritten) version of Horatio's "dodge" mod. Thanks to Horatio for his original work! Furthermore, this mod fixes several issues and adds various features (see the readme for details). The mod has both a tribunal and non-tribunal version, but the tribunal version is highly recommended as the non-tribunal version can't calculate the armor coverage and calculates a penalty based on your armor skills instead.

This is a clean mod, consisting of just a global script and some extra spells, and it won't affect save games or other plugins.

An Eltmer with sword.Eltmer

[download page]

The Eltmer (or Elder Elves) are a new race of Elves for Morrowind. They are especially good for playing mages or diplomats. The plugin is pure and balanced -- the Eltmer are about as strong as the other races and are closely related to the High Elves.

The Eltmer, or Elder Elves, are closely related to the High Elves and have the same build and appearance, but have brighter eyes. It is even rumored that the Eltmer are the old ancestors of the High Elves. The Eltmer form a small and withdrawn community, and they are a rare encounter in Tamriel. In the older days, they were known as the Wise Elves, since they are well spoken and have strong personalities. The Eltmer live in close harmony with nature and have an inborn bond with the mystical forces of the earth.

You can download the plugin from a separate webpage.
