Ashlander
Tent
A great home for rangers, hunters, rogues, and adventurers (and a nice change for mages and fighters). Visit Timsar the tent maker to earn your own custom-made portable Ashlander yurt. You can find him just north of Falensarano in the Grazelands.
The great thing about the tent is of course that it is mobile: you can carry it and pitch it anywhere where your adventures bring you. Leave the tent and you will be at your camp site again, which makes it a great item to explore the lands of Vvardenfell and Solstheim. In contrast to some other mobile homes, you will enter and exit just as fast as any other door. Loading of exterior locations added by other mods is still slow, but it will work. The tent is fairly heavy but there is enough storage inside to make up for it. Furthermore, it is very cozy and practical: it has a return amulet and an ingredients crystal that automatically puts all your ingredients in an urn. If you are able to complete a quest for Timsar, he can also extend the tent with a yurt in the void realm: this one has plenty storage, armor mannequins, display cases, and a teleportation shrine. As an extra, you can also find a nice ebony bow and ebony claymore during the quests for Timsar.
Download AshlanderTent-v2.0 (~1.6mb, requires Tribunal and Bloodmoon, (or maybe just Bloodmoon), cleaned with tesame)

Enjoy!

Fast Loading
If you have plugins loaded that add land masses, you can tell the Ashlander Tent about those areas to make it load the area faster. Many common plugins are included, and you should check the relevant esp's too. For example, "AshlanderTent-Veldion.esp" if you are playing with the "Veldion" plugin. Many extensions common plugins are already included in the main distribution:
- Ald-Vendra
- Annastia
- Black Mill
- Bloody Oath
- Booty Island
- Children of the Night 2 (Con2)
- Havish
- Inferno's Island
- Korobal Island
- Lokken Island (included by default)
- Lothavor's Legacy
- Sea of Destiny
- Stanegau Island
- Sword of Perithia
- Veldion
- Beyond Ysgramor
You should enable the relevant esp when using one of these mods. Note that the version of such mod doesn't matter, the extension just adds land area locations. If your favorite mod is not included, please write me about it and I will put an extension on this page. Furthermore, the readme explains how to make such extension yourself, which is fairly easy to do.
Credits
- Lady Eternity for the display cases.
- Chris Janosi (alias: mr Phantastik) for the original armor mannequins.
- Steve Deffeyes (aka dongle) for inspiration from the ranger tent mod.
- Marcel Hesselbarth for the original multimark scripts.
- Special thanks to Peter (aka ps33) for extensive testing and finding bugs :-)
Bugs
- When you leave the tent, the character always faces north.
- When loading the camp site area, the screen transition may look a bit weird.
- ps33 had a bug where after 72 hours the ingredients urn would be emptied! However, I have not been able to reproduce this bug. Furthermore, he could prevent the bug by always opening the urn after adding ingredients.
Cheating
Not recommended, but if you don't want to do the quest, you can type the following commands to get the tent and the expansion:
-
player->additem "_at_tent_placeholder", 1 set "_at_expansion" to 1
Do not give yourself two tents, or bad things will happen :-)
