Chiang Mai is the vibrant capital of Northern Thailand

with many beautiful wats (temples),

This part of the country has a rich nature, well preserved in national parks,

where you can enjoy an elephant ride through the jungle.

Almost every daytrip includes a visit to a hill tribe.

The Golden Triangle, infamous for its opium culture,

is situated between Thailand, Myanmar (Burma) and Laos.

At most hotels in Chiang Mai you can arrange various nice day- or half daytrips.
