Game Notes:
Dutch team arrived at 11:20 AM in Green Roller Park, the stadium of Krc Altron in Prague.
The Dutch started their pre-game activities ten minutes later. The team now takes batting practice on Field 2, while the game for third and fourth place between Spain and Germany was underway on the main field.

Spain won the Bronz medal by winning 7-3.

The final game can also be followed on Dutch Radio in Radio Tour on Radio 1, which starts at 2:00 PM, with commentary by Ronald Boot.
Excerpts of the final can be seen tonight on Dutch television in NOS Studio Sport, which starts at 8:30 PM, with commentary by Charles Urbanus.

History
The last time Netherlands and Italy met each other in the EC-Final was on July 31, 1999 in Bologna (Italy). The Dutch won that game 3-0.
In 2001, the Final was played between the Dutch team and Russia in Bonn (Germany).
In 2003, the Final was played between the Dutch team and Greece in Haarlem (Netherlands).

This will be the 108th official game between Netherlands and Italy. The Dutch has won 64, Italy 43.
