This is the twelfth game between the Netherlands and Nicaragua.
The first game between both countries was played on November 20, 1970 during the World Cup in Colombia.
The Netherlands has won four games, Nicaragua seven.
For both countries this game is part of their preparations for the World Cup Baseball, which opens next Friday, September 2 in Rotterdam.
The World Cup will be held September 2 - 17 in five Dutch cities: Almere, Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Haarlem and Rotterdam.

The Dutch team, which plays in Pool A, opens the World Cup on Friday-evening, September 2, against China at the Neptunus Familiestadion in Rotterdam, starting at 7:15 PM.
Nicaragua, which plays in Pool B, plays its first game on Saturday, September 3, against Colombia at the Pirates Baseball Stadium at Sportpark Ookmeer in Amsterdam, starting at 6:00 PM.
Yesterday-evening, the two teams played their first exhibition game and Nicaragua won 6-4.
Trailing 2-0, the Dutch took a 4-2 lead in the second inning.
Nicaragua came alongside in the fifth inning, then won in the eighth inning on a 2-run homerun by Norman Cardoze.
Because this is an international game, the Play-by-Play will be in English.

Dit is de twaalfde wedstrijd tussen Nederland en Nicaragua.
De eerste wedstrijd tussen beide landen werd gespeeld op 20 november 1970 tijdens het Wereldkampioenschap in Colombia.

Nicaragua, dat uitkomt in Poule B, speelt de eerste wedstrijd op zaterdag 3 september tegen Colombia in het Pirates Honkbal Stadion op Sportpark Ookmeer in Amsterdam, vanaf 18:00 uur.
Gisteravond stonden de ploegen tegenover elkaar in de eerste oefenwedstrijd en won Nicaragua met 6-4.
Met een 2-0 achterstand nam Oranje een 4-2 voorsprong in de tweede inning.
Nicaragua kwam langszij in de vijfde inning, waarna gewonnen werd in de achtste inning op een 2-run homerun van Norman Cardoze.
Omdat dit een internationale wedstrijd is, zal de Play-by-Play Engelstalig zijn.
