Dutch Federation honors Wladimir Balentien

This morning, Friday, September 27, Dutch player Wladimir 'Coco' Balentien has been decorated by the Royal Dutch Baseball and Softball Association (KNBSB).
At his residence in Tokyo, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Japan, Radinck J. van Vollenhoven welcomed the slugger and awarded him the KNBSB-decoration.
Also present at the ceremony was Stanley Palm, the Minister for Economic Development of Curaçao.
Balentien also received a certificate from the Netherlands Embassy in Tokyo.
On Tuesday, Balentien already was honored by Minister Palm before the game of Yakult Swallows.
On Curaçao, a street will be named after Balentien and it is also reported that he will get a statue on the island.
