  Kenley Jansen also joins Dutch Team for semi-final

Kenley Jansen, closer with the Los Angeles Dodgers, will also be on the roster of the Dutch Baseball Team for the final round of the World Baseball Classic.
The Dodgers confirmed on Thursday, March 14, that Jansen will be with the Orange squad coming Monday for the semi-final in San Francisco.
Jansen will workout with the Dodgers through Sunday then fly to San Francisco to join the team.

Kenley Jansen will take the spot of Jonatan Isenia, who suffered an elbow-injury while pitching in the game against Cuba last Monday.
In the same game, Wladimir Balentien (groin) and Yurendell de Caster (foot) also got injured, while Roger Bernadina hurt his wrist after being hit by a pitch the day before against Japan.
On Wednesday, it was announced that short stop Jurickson Profar of the Texas Rangers replaces De Caster on the roster.
The 25-year old Jansen was listed on the provisional roster of the Dutch in January.
In October, Jansen underwent surgery to correct an irregular heartbeat.
Since then, he was recovering and focused on Spring Training with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Last season, Jansen was 5-3 with 25 saves, pitching in 65 games as reliever for the Dodgers, finishing 40 games.
In 65 innings, the righthander struckout 99 batters and walked only 22, while giving 33 basehits.
Jansen made his Major League-debut with the Dodgers on July 24, 2010 and went on to pitch in 25 big league-games.
In 2011, he appeared in 51 games for the Dodgers.
In his three seasons in the Major League, Jansen is 8-4 with 34 saves.
In 2009, Jansen also was a member of the Dutch Team during the second World Baseball Classic, but then as a catcher.
He signed a professional contract with the Dodgers in 2004 when he was 17 years old, then made his debut in 2005 also as a catcher.
He first started to pitch on a professional level in 2009.
In Spring Training, Jansen appeared in two games so far, pitching two innings with one strikeout.
