 Ab de Boer succeeds Paul Nanne at Rabbits

Ab de Boer succeeds Paul Nanne as Head Coach of the Junior-squad of APPM Rabbits, which is part of Baseball Academy Kennemerland.
The naming of the 56-year old De Boer was announced on Wednesday-evening.

Paul Nanne will be the Head Coach of DSS next season in the 'Overgangsklasse', which was announced on October 11.
Nanne led the Junior-squad of the Rabbits in 2009 and 2010.
DSS is a partner of Baseball Academy Kennemerland, which plays its home games on the site of the Haarlem-club besides the Pim Mulier Stadium.
Joining Nanne to DSS are three Rabbits-players, who have concluded their education, being pitchers Max Ploegstra, Sven van de Sanden and Tim Halderman.
The latter is nominated for Sports Talent of the Year for the upcoming Topsport Kennemerland Gala.

Ab de Boer was the Assistant Coach this year of the Cadets-team of APPM Rabbits.
Before joining the Rabbits, De Boer was the Assistant Coach of Bernie Beckman at MediaMonks RCH in 2009 when the team played in the Dutch big league, but relegated at the end of the season.
In 2008, De Boer took over the coaching at RCH in the last month of the (big league-)season when he succeeded Robert Klaver.
Before coming to RCH, Ab de Boer was the Head Coach of Sparks Haarlem in the First Division.
Baseball Academy Kennemerland also announced that Peter Herkemij will return in 2011 as Head Coach of the Cadets of the Rabbits, which added it will now look for new assistant coaches for both youth teams.
In the past, Herkemij has been a player and coach of Kinheim-2.
