I shall now be known as: Sparkling Sen Lin

The Inscrutable Denominator of Heavenly Glory is a wondorous machine that can "Jade Empirize" you name. Since Kuschi is more Japanse sounding and I won't bore you with my real name which is greek, I picked the name Sen (cause I forgot Chihiro ;) ) and the machine made me Sparkling Sen Lin. Sparkly... cool! :D Sounds like a Spirit Monk so watch my Thousand Cuts and Stone Imortal... raarrrr :D Sorry for all the RPG talk but I played as Radiant Zi in my nth Jade Empire play-through and I just made out with the Princess again, which is just too cool for words that you can be gay in a high profile video game such as Jade Empire. So yeah, that was fun and the princess is just way cool. The only other romance option for playing a female character is a stupid guy who is rather slimeball like and betrays you later on in the game anyways... I'd gladly take any Ninja-outfit-clad under cover Princess over him. :) And when you beat the game and the Princess becomes the Empress it says in the Prologue that you are with her and she governs her Empire with her "Life Partner". lol

The game also has the option to become either good or evil and one could take the princess along on eitehr path. I of course played nauseatingly good, I had a circle of light hover over my head all second half of the game and the Empress in the end was the kindest and best Empress for hundreds of years.... but one can also become all evil and then the Princess and you go all evil on the Empire... I haven't tried that one yet, I can never get myself to just randomly kill off people... Jeebus I wonder why... *rolls eyes*

I hope that future RPGs will take JE as an example and always give the options for any possible relationship regardless of gender.

Happy Chinese New Year! The Year of the DOG!

So we actually got our act together and went to see the chinese new year ceremony in china town. Well let me tell you those 100 fire cracker things are quite messy... after a round of enormous noise you'll end up exhaling smoke and having loads of red fire cracker stuff in your hair... but it's fun. We saw lions do the cabbage in doorway catch thing and the cool dragons with little Chinese people under them. Add the drums and other percussion and loads of Chinese people who all spoke fluent accent-free dutch and are very polite and had fun. Just love the eastern Asian community in this city ^__^ And of course we're gonna go get chinese food now :D :D :D Yumm!

So yeah, Happy year of the Dog!!! :D

Well I should have known

gah So I got my Karate passport today and it has been stamped 5th of January 2006... *cry* this means I have to wait 1 whole year from when I'm ready for 1st dan until I can actually take the exam... :( Well it's not as bad, maybe I can perfectionate my style in that extra year and maybe participate in kata tournaments and/or kumite tournaments. Other than that, I am now training with the black belts and I have learned all 5 shodan katas (the first 5) wheras in my regular group with the orange and other green belts we are still learning the 3rd one. So it's loads of brain stuff and also I have to work on my strength more... it feels like a role playing game and I need to gain experience to rise up one level and with every new level I get strength points or more hitpoints... haha The ray is fired at Kuschi and she loses 3 defense points... oi... -_-;

Other than that it's insanely cold here now... they expect temperatures way under freezing point tonight.... o_O; yeah... lovely. It's been already -20 in Berlin last night and my poor sister still has one of those coal ovens so she had to get up in the middle of the night and reload it... and me, I'm actually thinking of wearing long underwear for biking to work tomorrow... o_O; And my engagement ring keeps falling off my fingers since my finger shrank... I mean, there was significant shrinkage... heh XD

Let's go watch a tv series where a minister sees Jesus

Cause:

tbodNeed I say more? There. The show hasn't even started yet and it's already being discussed like crazy just cause people saw in previews that it's about a minister who deals with things like addiction and stuff and Jesus has a role, cause the minister sees him.. you know... be it just his "talk with god" or Joan of Arc-esque whatever.

Well I'm gonna download some Eps if they ever air and go stare at Susanna Thompson at any rate :D :D :D

And Luke and Lorelei-goodness has finally convinced me to just download all available Gilmore Girls Eps that have recently aired in the US because I simply can't wait. That is, however, if/when I get my stupid windows to work again...

XP installed automatic Updates and now it's all broke.... gahh... gotta go figure that out... blegh...

*yawn*

So I dreamt about this weird "punk dude guy who was a cat" last night. He really rocked and I couldn't get him out of my head all day until I gave in and drew him... lol... so here he is:

Yes, he had pink hair in my dream, but I added the goggles to be hip. ^__^ I can't remember anything else detail-wise about him so the rest I just made up...

So now I feel better... haha... and I survived my lunchbreak... ha.

Other than that we're going to an Irish Pub sometime tonight, for probably just 1 cola or something... just to be sociable... ;)

And since it's a REAL Tefkaak day today: "mega ultra digi hugs Angelperson" *kissy kissy*

Leise rieselt... rieselt...rieselt der Schnee.... Schnee... Schnee...and it keeps rieseling... o_O;

Jeebus! 77 people have died in Japan because of the enormous amounts of snow that have fallwen over the past weeks.

well... snow

I never realized how bad snow can be. It's so cold there that the gas usage is the highest it has ever been. Most people who died froze to death under avalanches... from their roofs... o_O;

However most people who died were older than 60 and snow is nothing new to Japan. They've always had issues with snow. They have installations rom the early 70s that make snow melt, like sprinklers, and send warm(er) water downp the streets. And yes, they also have heating in the streets!!! I mean.... GO JAPAN!!! :)

Yeah this post is rather random but I felt like I should update.

:P

For Angel

This is funny :D

Imade

Movies I have to watch in 2006

Imagine Me And You (BBC Films) with Piper Perabo short description: "Imagine you are getting married.

The big day has arrived. You're walking down the aisle on your father's arm and your eyes meet the eyes of the person you know you're going to spend the rest of your life with.

Then imagine that that person isn't the nervous man standing next to the vicar. It isn't a man at all. It's the woman who's been employed to do the flowers in the church. "

Cute!

We also still have to watch King Kong but I suppose we'll do that tonight :D

Then there's some DVDs we ordered: "Goldfish Memory" and a US-chinese movie about 2 girls :D Can't remember the name.

But yeah.

Oh and not to forget of course X-MEN 3!!! We HAVE to watch that.

Since 2006 is supposedly the year of the sequals there might not be anything else worth watching unless we get lucky and some with a brain, made a movie too. lol ;)

Happy 2006!!!

lol

Yeah I'm just as bad with the updating part I was in 2005 so no new developments there. But hey, we survived the Holidays, albeit it 2 kilos heavier and the wish to never eat again.

I got to see my family for Christmas so that made me really happy. And we had snow in Berlin. Went to Weihnachtsmarkt and all that stuff. When we came back we also got Snow in the Hague which actually stayed for a day or two. So now the second day of the new year I'm back at work while my lovely Angel is at home since she still has a day off work. (They compensate holidays that fall on a weekend)

So far there's nothing else new with the moi so I don't know what else to write. Maybe a to-do-list for 2006. Here it goes:

Get Bathroom done
Get Garden done
Get Hallway done
Get Guestroom 1 done
Get Guestroom 2 done
Get Walk-in closet done
Go to my Parents 25th wedding Anniverary party in the Harz
Go to Ireland
Beat Super Mario 64 DS (I have 77 stars atm)
Get blue belt and maybe brown belt, depending on exam dates

Well as you can see... loads of stuff still needs to be done in our house so that's a big GAH. But I'm looking forward to our trips this year. Especially Ireland. That would be our first real vacation like trip together. City trips don't count... ;)

Also, erm... since we're getting married next year, I supposed we'll have to get started with the whole planning around that o_O;
