Seafood, you'll be eating this... uhuh...

ebiSo I'm sitting here listening to Eden and somehow I doubt that "Seafood, you'll be eating this, uhuh!" has anything to do with my Japanese shrimp-flavoured (ebi) noodle-soup. o_O; ^__^ *hehe* --> GUT(MIND)TER

So anyhoo, nothing much is happening other than Summer finally decided to pay us a visit. Right at the moment where everyone is back to work. So not the morale booster that I needed. Karate class was really hard today. I somehow just was totally dead halfway through. So much actually, that by the last 5 minutes I had to excuse myself (!!!) to fetch some water cause I felt at the edge of fainting. *hides* It's because we trained with the "big kids" again, and I tried my best... So I'm chowing on noddles now and I still have a chocolate muffin *oishii* ^__^! and a power vitamine drink-A-mabob lined up. So I should be fine till 18.00 ^__^

Tonight the US open starts. I already made sure to stare at Amelie Mauresmo in the New Haven Tournament... you know, to see how a Pro pulls the backhand through. Purely for professional purpose of course... *looks cheeky*

Nothing you can say can tear my away from iGuy!

I really want one

I want an iGuy! He be so cute! Hahaha! He be very clunky, though and probably will not fit into my jacket pocket anymore.

sigh Also I'm nearly finished with watching the Marimite Spring Fansubs. What an awesome series! I mean what more can a Kuschi ask for? Cute Anime schoolgirls at an all girl catholic (well Virgin Mary - Obsessed) High School who are nearly all gay and have each other as girlfriends and who get all romantic and dramatic and they have this "sister" system which is basicly just like marriage... hahaha. And since Yumi is so much like me... or the other way round, I now have the urge to put my hair up in pigtails... But I shall refrain from that. ^__^

Also cute girl on the OC, who is SOOOO radiating emotion into our living room had to kiss en entirely emotionless Misha Barton in the most painfully onesided-but-supposed-to-be-mutual kiss on TV screen EVER. Could she have locked her lips ever tighter? What's the deal? That Alex really is the hottest girl in a show ever, and that Misha just sits there like a cartboard cutout. Stright or not, if someone like that does a kissing scene with you, you better show some sort of passion, albeit just to save your acting carreer...

Oh well, maybe Alex has to jump into the Mariasama ga Miteru World and get together with Sei-Sama ^__^ They have about the same driving style... whuahahaha!

My 2nd (hand) bike:

So yeah I bought a bike 2nd hand from a guy that works at the UN. it's this one:

bike

Paid 170 for it which is a good price for the atx series. I could have gotten it for less I'm sure but I'm no good at haggling and I did a price check and it's worth arond 200. So that's good then.

It needs a "groote beurt", though, just to check it all up. Like re-adjust brakes, gears and that kinda stuff and it needs new tires. And there is a couple of lose parts but all in all it's in a good state. I made an appointment for next Thursday at the bike place it was originally purchased. So on Friday next week will be my first going to work with my newly pimped up bike (meaning that my ultra cool mountain bike will have a luggage rack in the back for my sportsbag). rofllol

I dunno...

giantxair

yeah I already punched the whole PSP idea outta my head since I know I have too much stuff lying around that I don't touch anymore anyways. I've been looking around for bikes and I'm gonna go to the Globe in 1 hour to figure out what kinda bikes they have and let them measure me to see what frame I need etc.

I really like the Giant X-Air (see photo above) but I think it's way too expansive and probably much more than I need when it comes to performance. So I'll have to go and talk to the store guys and tell them what I need in a bike and maybe they can help me out.

We'll see. I won't buy one right away, since I'm biking there with my Oma fiets and I cannot bike back on 2 bikes... haha.

Hmmm Bike or Gadget?

psp

I know I'm really bad with cool things. Especially if it has to do with my favourite Final Fantasy game (VII). The Sony PSP comes to dutch markets in September this year and I'm still sort of sceptical. Not because I doubt its greatness, but moreso because the development goes way too fast. In order to still be able to play the newest and most fun games you always have to get new hardware. I'm already miffed that none of the old xbox games will work on the Xbox 2, which means I cannot get rid of the old one if I ever decide to get the better model. Also, I love my gameboy advance and I finished Zelda (well... I gave up on the final boss, but I played through the entire game...) and I had loads of fun, but then they stop again releasing any good games for the GBA and only release stuff for the new GameBoy DS so I'm screwed again. And now the PSP, which is an incredibly strong piece of hardware, basicly a laptop but then the size of your palm, and no, no palm pc but much stronger. It's nearly as strong as the PS2 which I also have, mind you. Anyhoo. So the PSP plays TV, video, audio, photo files, you can surf the internet and it comes with wireless network, the same protocol we have in our home network.

ff7ac I know 2 years from now the PSP will be a joke and I'll obsess about something else entirely again and that's the whole problem. I'm tired of this speed that technology takes, and most of all the fact that they make nothing compatible. I don't wanna have 20 consoles lying around at home, one for each game I like. That's retarded. Then we might as well all go back to the days when we had those 1-game handhelds. What's the point? On the other hand I have such an itching inside when I see the PSP and I read about what it can all do. Maybe I should wait 2 years until I can buy on on ebay for 10 Euros. lol... then at least I won't regret getting it when another new cool thing comes out. I mean, honestly I have not yet seen a game for the PSP I want to have other than the FF movie. (EDIT: Scrap that: "Ys: The Ark of Napishtim" is a anime sorta RPG... darnit)

And there is the other thing. I also want to buy a new bike. I know I said that before but then I wanted to wait until we moved, and well... we have done so and now I want a new bike. So I'm all torn... lol... I know the sensible thing to do is to get a new bike and no PSP and I think I will do that.

At least I finished the xbox game Jade Empire. :D
